We are Boy Scouts of America Troop 842 in Coppell, Texas, chartered by the First United Methodist Church in Coppell.

We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm at 420 South Heartz Road in Coppell.  You are welcome to visit and learn more about us.

Last Call for Recharter

Every year, we must submit paperwork to our Council, identifying all active members for the coming year and paying the fees that come along with that.  This year, collecting that paperwork has been challenging due to the lack of in-person meetings but it's still a process we must complete in order to retain our troop's charter and associated insurance coverage.

Winter Camp Registration Open

2021 Recharter Has Begun

It's that time of the year again!  We need to collect updated information and fees for all Scouts and adult participants as part of our annual rechartering with Scouts BSA.  Please look for an email (sent 10/24/2020) with detailed instructions and note that we are offering a raffle entry for each Scout completing the process by Nov 3rd through which he could win 50% off the cost of our next Summer Camp. 

Circle Ten Online Merit Badge University

Climbing MB Requirements 6 & 12

If you attended the October campout at TRJ, you likely have requirements 6 and 12 remaining to complete the Climbing merit badge.  If you would like to complete these requirements, please plan on arriving at the FUMC Ministry at 6 PM on Tuesday, November 3rd to complete these items.
